      Building an Estimate

      Add sections, items, quantities, and markup to build an estimate.

      Add Sections

      First, organize your estimate by trades, rooms, or custom sections

      Add Items

      Next, create items or search to add items from Your Catalog.

      Note: Search and browse the ConGenius Catalog for prebuilt assemblies to add to your estimate anytime.

      Set Quantities

      1. Manually add quantities for each item, or
      2. Double click to apply a takeoff

      If you haven't created any takeoffs, 'Go to Takeoffs' to create measurements first.

      Markup

      Set markup, profit, taxes, and fees to ensure you make money on the job.

      Preview & Send

      Go to the "Present" tab when you're ready to customize your proposal, preview, and send!
